Save persistent world state
Put the WSRF snapshot in your own SaveGame, capture it at an explicit save boundary, and apply it after the destination world exists.
WSRF Core supplies snapshot data; the project owns its SaveGame slots and files. The optional Rest Site Quick Save is a separate WSRF-only convenience described in Rest Sites.
Steps
- Add a
WSRF World State Snapshotvariable to the project’s SaveGame class. - At an explicit save boundary, call Capture WSRF Persistent State.
- Store the snapshot, then save the SaveGame object normally.
- On load, create/open the destination world before calling Apply WSRF Persistent State.
- Inspect Applied, Deferred, Missing, Failed, and version diagnostics.
What you get
Normal enemies and props are omitted because their temporary state should start authored in a new session. Persistent and One Shot records are exported. Schema 1 and schema 2 snapshots migrate automatically to the current schema 3 format.
The full contract is documented in Persistence adapter.
